Martech News – The Morganti Group Inc., a 104-year-old construction company, has named Thamer Rushaidat as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. The move is part of the company’s succession plan, which was confirmed by Morganti’s Board of Directors in January 2019.
“We are pleased to have Mr. Rushaidat take on this leadership position to promote the mission and vision of Morganti,” states Nabil Takla, past president and CEO and currently a Board Director. “We are confident that Mr. Rushaidat will strengthen the foundation of Morganti through his enthusiasm, strategic vision, vast experience and dedication to his position. The transition requires strong leadership, dedication and commitment to the vision of becoming the first choice of customers in the markets that we serve,” he adds.
Mr. Rushaidat’s ultimate goal is to maintain a dynamic company spirit exemplifying fairness, creativity, integrity and healthy aggressiveness, while also producing maximum benefit to our employees, clients and the communities in which we live, work and play. “My mission will be to bridge the gap between Morganti’s past, present and future by measuring the successes of the past and learning from its history,” he explains. “Key to this mission is Morganti’s foundation of experienced, talented construction industry professionals. Empowered and equipped with cutting-edge technologies, this team will fuel the company’s growth and success, while adhering to the highest standards of workmanship with honesty, integrity and expertise.”
With a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering, Mr. Rushaidat is no stranger to Morganti or its previous parent company Consolidated Contractors Group S.A.L. (CCC). He has spent the last 25 years moving through the ranks of both firms from site engineer and project manager to group manager then Deputy CEO/CFO and now to president and CEO. Mr. Rushaidat is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP), a LEED Green Associate, a Professional Architect in Project Management, and a Chief of Projects Management (Consultant Grade A). His resume includes vast experience in the management of large-scale projects, including water and wastewater treatment plants, systems and power stations, hospitals, hotels and high-rise residential projects.
Mr. Rushaidat joined Morganti in 1995, and his journey with the company has taken him to 10 different countries across four different continents. “Along the way,” he says, “I learned a very valuable lesson: The road to success and client satisfaction is grounded in embracing our history and encouraging diversity, creativity and critical thinking in our workforce.”
